What Is The Use of System Restore in Windows and How to Use it with images



System Restore option is available in windows. It is very helpful tool for users. But many people not totally aware how to use system restore option. Here I can explain its usage with images.

How this option Works

System Restore option use to restore your system to a previous date. Its mean when you set a restore point on a specific date and you can run this option after some months your system settings go back on that specific date.

Benefit of System Restore

After some time after installing new windows in your pc. Viruses and malwares are attack your computer. You can or without your permission install many unwanted programs. At that time when you run this option all malwares deleted from your pc.


How to perfectly use it

Install fresh windows in pc or laptop. Now install your all necessary programs and drivers. Make sure all necessary things are installed.
Now right click on my computer, and Select properties

Now select advance system settings. You can also select remote settings and system protection.



This below box will show after above step. Click on system protection tab.

And the end creating system restore option is available click on it give a name of restoring point. Your restore point is created. 






To check it click on CONTROL PANEL from START MENU and select BACKUP AND RESTORE click on RECOVER SYSTEM SETTINGS ON YOUR COMPUTER then click on OPEN SYSTEM RESTORE. Click next now you can see your restore point is available here.







Make sure  this restore point after installing all software’s and drivers because  when you run system restore point your computer restarts and all drivers and software’s were deleted. But keep in mind your all date including in drive c like on desktop will not be deleted by running this.

Note: This method and using images from windows 7, windows xp is very familiure like this method
